We understand that welcoming a new pet into your home is a major commitment, especially during the first year of care and development. To provide peace of mind, we offer a comprehensive health guarantee designed to support both our customers and the well-being of our pets.

To the best of the Breeder’s knowledge, every pet is in excellent health at the time of sale and has received age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, and routine veterinary care prior to placement.

Veterinary Examination

The Buyer is required to have the pet examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of delivery or pickup to confirm the pet’s health condition.

One-Year Health Guarantee

Our one-year health guarantee covers:

  • Congenital heart defects
  • Genetic disorders
  • Congenital organ dysfunctions resulting in death
  • Life-threatening hereditary conditions
  • Canine distemper

We take every reasonable precaution in our breeding program to promote healthy bloodlines, sound genetics, and long-term well-being.

Genetic Health Coverage

This health guarantee remains valid until the pet reaches two years of age for any proven hereditary or congenital life-threatening condition that significantly affects the pet’s quality of life.

In the event that a licensed veterinarian confirms a qualifying genetic or congenital condition, we will provide a replacement pet of equal value and the same gender when available. Transportation and shipping costs associated with the replacement will be the responsibility of the Buyer.

Our Commitment

Even beyond the guarantee period, we remain committed to supporting our customers and will always do our best to provide guidance and assistance whenever possible. Our goal is to ensure every pet transitions into a loving, healthy, and lifelong home.

Grooming Tips

Grooming Tips for Parrots & Parrot Chicks

Proper grooming is essential for maintaining the health, comfort, and overall well-being of parrots and young chicks. Grooming should always be done gently and in a calm environment to avoid stress.

Grooming Tips for Adult Parrots

1. Bathing & Feather Care

  • Provide regular bathing using a shallow bowl of clean, lukewarm water or a light mist spray.
  • Most parrots enjoy bathing 2–4 times per week, depending on species and climate.
  • Ensure feathers dry naturally in a warm, draft-free environment.

2. Feather Maintenance

  • Allow the bird to preen naturally; this is essential for feather health.
  • Do not over-handle or disrupt natural oil distribution from the preen gland.
  • Watch for broken, damaged, or dirty feathers that may need attention.

3. Nail Trimming

  • Check nails regularly to prevent overgrowth.
  • Use proper bird-safe nail clippers or have a professional trim them if unsure.
  • Avoid cutting too close to the quick to prevent bleeding and stress.

4. Beak Care

  • Provide natural chew toys, wood perches, and mineral blocks to help naturally maintain beak shape.
  • A healthy beak should not require frequent trimming.

5. Wing Care (Optional)

  • Wing clipping should only be done by an experienced avian professional if necessary.
  • Many owners choose to leave wings natural for flight and exercise.

Grooming Tips for Parrot Chicks

1. Gentle Handling

  • Handle chicks minimally and always with clean, warm hands.
  • Support the body fully to avoid injury or stress.

2. Feather Development Care

  • Chicks do not require bathing until feathers begin to develop.
  • Keep nesting areas clean, warm, and dry to support healthy feather growth.

3. Hygiene & Cleanliness

  • Ensure bedding or nesting material is changed regularly.
  • Maintain a clean environment to prevent infections or feather damage.

4. Nail Monitoring

  • Chick nails grow quickly; monitor them but avoid trimming unless necessary and done by an experienced handler or vet.

5. Stress-Free Environment

  • Keep chicks in a quiet, stable environment away from loud noises and sudden temperature changes.
  • Proper warmth is essential for healthy growth and feather development.
